Provenance checklist

Prefer stable IDs over titles: DOI, PMID, OpenAlex ID, Aphia ID, GBIF key, OBIS

dataset ID.

Keep raw source links in frontmatter or body citations.
Mark uncertain habitat or region matches as confidence: low until a human

reviewer confirms them.

When a paper is not clearly aquatic, save it only if it is useful negative

evidence or method context.
